Shipping limits:


GEN-X-PC.com attempts to ship all orders within 1-3 business days, unless product is on back order, limited availability or special order status. On our high end systems please allow 5-7 days for premium building and testing. Most items are shipped using UPS/FedEx  standard ground transportation. Express shipments are also available. Please allow 3 - 7 business days for all standard shipments. When the shipment (s) is/are Refused or undeliverable, customer will be responsible for the second time Shipping & Handling, in some cases there will be 15% restocking fee charge. We do not ship to P.O. boxes. Typographic errors are subject to correction. Laptop Custom Colors estimated 3 to 4 weeks extra build/paint time.

APO/FPO Shipping

We proudly ship to all Army Post Office (APO) and Fleet Post Office (FPO) military addresses via USPS Express Mail. Please note that APO/FPO orders are processed by the military mail system, and cannot be tracked. A proof of shipment (Certificate of Mailing) may be requested when ordering, however, we are not responsible for non-delivery of orders we cannot track. Please allow extra time for APO/FPO orders to arrive.
 

Tracking:

Tracking numbers via UPS or FedEx are emailed to the email address you listed on your purchase order. Tracking email are generated automatically by shipper servers usually 24 to 48 hours after package has been received and processed through the UPS/FedEx software tracking system.

Guaranty-Warranty-Cancellations

All computer systems are warranted to be free from manufacture defects for a period of one (1) year from the invoiced purchase date (some products are covered for longer period of time depending on manufacturer's specification). The Limited warranty covers the system, components, and In-House labor for the entire one (1) year period. All others items carry a minimum (1) year repair or replacement warranty. Warranty on microprocessors and memory modules that have been mishandled or damaged is voided. GEN-X-PC offers a 30-day money back guarantee on most purchases. S&H is absolutely non-refundable in any case. The 30-day period will start from the date when the order was delivered. After 30 days, no refund is allowed. Certain models of laptops are 100% custom built and may not be returned if not defective. Each laptop has Warranty detail link on particular model page. Please check your particular model for specific information. It takes up to 30 business days to process the return and refund. We will notify you by email when your refund has been processed. Please note that your financial institution could take up to seven business days to reflect this transaction. If you have any questions about your return, please contact us.

Defective items may be returned for refund or replacement within the first 30 Days. Defective items after the initial 30 Days period, may be returned for replacement only. Restocking fees may apply even if the item is defective or DOA. Restocking fee policy depends entirely on the manufacturer policy. All returns subject to the following restrictions:

  • All products must be returned in original condition free from any physical damage, including packaging, documentation, manuals, and accessories.
  • Certain hardware items and all custom/special orders may only be returned for exchange if defective. No returns for refunds will be accepted.
  • All returns must be shipped freight prepaid.
  • OEM CPUs and Software is absolutely non refundable. Software can only be purchased with System or Hardware only.
  • All component returns found to be non-defective are subject to a restocking fee of 15% or $25, depending on the value of the item, and all non product related fees (shipping, handling, card fees and insurance) are not refundable.
  • Orders cancelled prior to shipping out will incur a 6% cancellation fee due to the fees we have to pay merchant services for credit card transactions. Orders cancelled after being shipped out will be refunded minus the restocking fee, shipping and handling.
  • Warranty on microprocessors and memory modules that have been mishandled or damaged is voided. Only those items that are determined to be free from damage will be exchanged or refunded.
  • Warranty does not apply to physical damages.
  • Warranty does not apply to special ordered items. Meaning items we do not carry on a regular basis on the website.
  • Warranty against hot, stuck or dead pixels on all our LCD products, from monitors, laptops is 8 or more pixels. Please refer to the manufacturer specification.
  • Refunds may take up to 30 days after we received the item.

After the initial 1-year warranty, all returns and/or replacements must be handled directly with the manufacturer. Please review the specific warranty supplied with each product.

Returns Policy


Return policy: All returns require an RMA (Return Material Authorization).
To receive a RMA, please call to request information (866.966.4369). The RMA will be issued and returned by call within 24 hours. RMA numbers are valid for 15 days and then cancelled. It is recommended that all returns be made via a traceable carrier such as FedEx, UPS or Certified Mail as GEN-X-PC is not responsible for items that are misdirected or lost in shipment. RMA numbers must be legibly listed on the outside of the carton.


GEN-X-PC Tech Dept. does not accept any shipments without a valid RMA.
Every open or used software is not refundable under any conditions.
Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.
